FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Chandler Armistead joined the firm’s Orlando office as an associate.
Chandler focuses her practice on the defense and counsel of management in labor and employment law matters. She advises and represents employers on matters including discrimination and retaliation claims under Title VII, the Family Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Prior to joining FordHarrison, she served as a legal intern for the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Tampa, Florida. Chandler is skilled in drafting settlement agreements, employee separation agreements, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission position statements, case assessments, and employee handbook provisions.
In addition to defense and counsel of management in employment law issues, her practice also ranges from all facets of traditional labor law, including collective bargaining negotiations, unfair labor practice cases before the National Labor Relations Board, union organizing campaigns, arbitration, and picketing. Chandler previously worked intimately with the in-house labor relations counsel for one the largest worldwide corporate enterprises.
