Date   Jan 28, 2022

CHICAGO - FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Craig R. Thorstenson, Managing Partner of the firm’s Chicago office and member of FordHarrison's Executive Committee, was named to the 2022 Illinois Super Lawyers list and Karl Analo, Senior Associate, was named to the 2022 Illinois Rising Stars list.

Attorneys are selected for this honor through a statewide nomination process, peer review by practice area and independent research on candidates. The rigorous process is designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only five percent of attorneys in the state of Illinois are named “Super Lawyers.”

Craig devotes his practice to the litigation of employment disputes and providing related counseling.  With over 30 years of experience, he has vast experience in a broad range of labor and employment matters, including  defending numerous WARN Act, FLSA and Title VII class actions, prosecuting and defending actions over restrictive covenants, and handling complex labor arbitrations. Craig also routinely provides day-to-day preventive advice and counsel to his clients on every aspect of the employer-employee relationship. In addition to providing his clients with counseling, he conducts targeted client training for human resources professionals and company managers, including training on LGBT issues.

Karl focuses exclusively on the representation of employers in labor and employment matters. He has significant experience litigating complex labor and employment law issues including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and the like. Although Karl is more than comfortable in the courtroom, he is also committed to helping employers avoid litigation whenever possible, through implementation and enforcement of sound personnel policies, proactive management training, and thorough workplace investigations.
