FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that David M. Gobeo was named the firm’s West Palm Beach Office Managing Partner.

“David’s experience and commitment to client service make him a great fit to lead the West Palm Beach office. We look forward to the future of this office under his guidance,” said Al McKenna, FordHarrison Managing Partner.

David routinely handles lawsuits involving non-compete, non-solicitation, and trade secret matters, and counsels businesses on protecting their confidential information from issues surrounding employee defection.  In addition, David litigates overtime wage claims, including class and collective actions, under the Fair Labor Standards Act. David also handles claims under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and the Florida Civil Rights Act. David defends clients against charges of discrimination before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Florida Commission on Human Relations, and various local agencies. David also advises clients on the use of employment policies and procedures to reduce litigation risk. He was recently appointed to the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches.

“David has already proven he will be an exceptional leader,” said Christine Hanley, former West Palm Beach Office Managing Partner. “His dedication to his practice and enthusiasm for strong client relationships makes him a perfect fit to lead our office moving forward.”

“I’m honored to take over the reins of the West Palm Beach office. I look forward to working with Christine and the rest of the team as we continue to provide our clients with the excellent service they’ve come to expect from us,” said David.
