Destiny Washington Named Top 40 Under 40 by The National Black Lawyers

ATLANTA – FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Destiny S. Washington, a senior associate in the firm’s Atlanta office, has been named a Top 40 Under 40 in Georgia by The National Black Lawyers. The selection process is multi-phase and includes peer nominations as well as third-party research. 

A release by The National Black Lawyers stated, “Ms. Washington has shown that she exemplifies superior qualifications, leadership skills, and performance in her areas of legal practice.”

Destiny focuses her legal practice on the representation and counsel of management in employment law and labor relations disputes. She has an extensive background representing clients both in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies. She has advised clients in all manner of employment law disputes including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations. She also has experience in labor relations, counseling clients on the legal issues related to union campaigns, collective bargaining, and arbitrations.

Destiny serves as a Co-Editor for the Georgia Employment Law Letter published by BLR and is a contributing author for EntertainHR, FordHarrison's blog that covers the landscape of television, movies, and celebrity culture from an employment-law perspective. She is also a veteran of both the U.S. Army and the Louisiana Army National Guard.
