Date   May 24, 2012

Ford & Harrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, announces the addition of Sara Sahni as an associate in the firm's Atlanta office.

Sara concentrates her practice in the representation of employers in labor and employment matters.  Her practice encompasses all areas relating to the counseling, training and representation of management clients in federal and state courts, as well as before state and local agencies.  She also drafts and reviews employment policies, employment contracts and employee handbooks.

Prior to joining Ford & Harrison, Sara served as the Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia.  In this role, she filed briefs on behalf of the State in all non-capital murder appeals in the Georgia Supreme Court and was responsible for litigating over 500 state and federal habeas corpus cases in state superior and federal district courts across the state.

While in law school, Sara completed a law clerkship at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission where she conducted legal research and prepared a presentation on current and novel issues in employment discrimination law for use at the Excel Conference.  She was also a Law Review Member of the University of Louisville's Brandeis Law Journal and served as president of the university's Women's Law Caucus.

"We are very pleased to welcome Sara to the firm," said John Monroe, managing partner of Ford & Harrison's Atlanta office. "I know she will strengthen our office's efforts to deliver the highest level of quality client service."
