MEMPHIS & ATLANTA- Ford & Harrison, one of the nation’s largest labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Keith Thomas has joined the firm as an Associate. He will practice in the firm’s Memphis office, concentrating his focus on the areas of employment discrimination litigation and the enforcement or defense of covenants not to compete and non-solicitation agreements.
Prior to joining the firm, he served with law firms in Memphis and Chattanooga, Tennessee primarily representing management on employment and labor law issues. Earlier in his career, Mr. Thomas worked on plaintiff-oriented litigation matters including personal injury cases, real estate and transactional matters.
Mr. Thomas is admitted to practice in the State Courts of Tennessee, the United States District Courts for the Western District of Tennessee and the Eastern and Western District of Arkansas and the United States Circuit Courts of Appeal for the Sixth and Eighth Circuits. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Labor & Employment Law Section and the Society for Human Resources Management, where he serves on the SHRM-Memphis Newsletter Editorial Committee.
He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (B.S, cum laude, 1993) and his law degree from the University of Tennessee, College of Law in Knoxville (J.D., cum laude, 1997).
