MEMPHIS – Ford & Harrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, announced Tuesday the addition of Dr. Marcy N. Ingram, who has joined the firm’s Memphis office as an associate.
“I am very excited to have an attorney of Marcy’s exceptional expertise joining our office,” said Louis Britt, managing partner of Ford & Harrison’s Memphis office. “Her focus on litigation and discrimination related matters will be very beneficial to our clients given the present litigious environment.”
Marcy Ingram concentrates her practice on representing management in litigation and employment matters with a focus on discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FLSA and state law discrimination.
Prior to joining Ford & Harrison, Marcy served as an Assistant County Attorney for Shelby County Government where, in addition to advising the Human Resources Department, she provided representation for EEOC discrimination charges, wage and hour claims and Civil Service Merit Board administrative hearings. She also trained managers on how to handle claims of sexual harassment. Marcy is a graduate of the Memphis Bar Association Leadership Forum 2006 class. She holds a Doctorate in Education from Trevecca Nazarene University and received her J.D. from the University of Memphis School of Law in 2004.
“The firm’s commitment to quality client service is second to none and their growing national practice is an incredible asset to almost every client,” Ingram said. “I am honored to have been given the opportunity to join Ford & Harrison at this exciting time.”
