Ford & Harrison is deeply saddened by the loss of our partner Kenneth D. Stein who passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at the age of 65. Ken was an outstanding lawyer and individual who was deeply devoted to his wife Andrea and his children and grandchildren.
Ken joined Ford & Harrison in 2004 with the opening of the firm's New York office where he served as office managing partner. He practiced labor and employment law with a passion for more than 40 years and was dedicated to his clients. In addition, he wrote countless articles on labor and employment law and was active in many associations, including the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.
Ken also enjoyed many diverse hobbies outside the practice of law, including photography and traveling.
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, October 13 at the Sinai Chapels in Fresh Meadows, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the following charities:
