ATLANTA – Ford & Harrison, one of the nation’s largest labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Christopher Butler, Jeffrey Hackney and Jermaine Walker have joined the firm as Associates.
Chris Butler focuses his practice on employment litigation matters. Prior to joining Ford & Harrison, Chris tried a multitude of cases, predominantly within the areas of general liability and workers’ compensation. Earlier in his career, Chris litigated for a number of years in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he received the Chattanooga Young Lawyer of the Year award and served as Secretary/Treasurer and District Representative for the Chattanooga and Tennessee Bar Associations (YLD). He received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Alabama and his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law.
Jeff Hackney represents employers with respect to union organizing drives, unfair labor practice charges, and federal court proceedings and regularly appears as an advocate for management in labor arbitration hearings. He joins Ford & Harrison after practicing management-side labor law in St. Louis. Jeff graduated from the University of Missouri and received his law degree from the Washington University School of Law.
Jermaine Walker joins the firm after serving as a Field Attorney and Counsel for the General Counsel at the National Labor Relations Board in Jacksonville, FL. Earlier in his career, he was a Law Clerk in both the New York State Attorney General’s Office (Torts Unit, Claims Bureau) and the General Counsel’s Office of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) in Washington, DC. At Ford & Harrison he focuses on labor and employment law litigation and is a member of the airline group. Jermaine earned his undergraduate degree from Emory University and his law degree from Albany Law School of Union University where he was a member and Associate Editor of the Albany Law Review.
All three attorneys will practice in Ford & Harrison’s Atlanta office.
