FordHarrison Awarded 2019 "Best Law Firms" Tier 1 Ranking by U.S. News – Best Lawyers

Date   Nov 1, 2018

FordHarrison LLP, one of the country's largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that the firm has received Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 Rankings in the 2019 Edition of U.S. News – Best Lawyers list of "Best Law Firms." Firms included in the 2019 "Best Law Firms" list are recognized for professional excellence with persistently impressive ratings from clients and peers. Achieving a ranking signals a unique combination of quality law practice and breadth of legal expertise.

FordHarrison was recognized at a national level in three practice areas, including Employment Law – Management (Tier 1), Labor Law – Management (Tier 1), and Litigation – Labor & Employment (Tier 1). The firm also received 26 "Metropolitan First-Tier Rankings" for a variety of practice areas in 10 U.S. cities, five "Metropolitan Second-Tier Rankings" in five U.S. cities, and five “Metropolitan Third-Tier Rankings” in five U.S. cities. Earlier this year, Best Lawyers selected 46 FordHarrison attorneys for inclusion in the 2019 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.

The U.S. News – Best Lawyers "Best Law Firms" rankings, for the ninth consecutive year, includes rankings in 75 national practice areas and 122 metropolitan-based practice areas. The firms selected are determined by a rigorous evaluation process that asks clients and peers to evaluate firms based on responsiveness, understanding of a business and its needs, cost effectiveness, integrity and civility, as well as whether they would refer a matter to the firm and/or consider the firm a worthy competitor. About Best Lawyers
Since it was first published in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. Because Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which more than 55,000 leading attorneys cast over 6.7 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas, and because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor. Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers "the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice."
