Date   Jun 23, 2014

FordHarrison LLP is pleased to announce that Katelyn D. Winslow (Kate) has joined the Atlanta office as an associate. Katelyn comes to the firm on the heels of expansion in several offices nationwide. Prior to joining FordHarrison, Kate worked as a tax extern with a large multinational aviation and defense contractor. In this role, she researched case law, statutes and administrative regulations to draft memoranda on a range of tax issues.

"This is a very exciting time for the firm, and we are thrilled to have Kate join the FordHarrison family," said John Monroe, Office Managing Partner of the Atlanta office. "Her employee benefits experience, coupled with her dedication to providing impeccable client service, will be extremely beneficial to the continued success and growth of the firm."

Kate Winslow concentrates her practice on representing employers in employee benefits matters and associated tax implications. She assists clients in the drafting and review of existing employee pension and health and welfare benefit plan documents, summary plan descriptions, participant communications and plan policies and procedures.

Earlier in her career, Kate served as a law clerk with the Chester County District Attorney's with responsibility for drafting direct examination of expert witnesses, writing appellate briefs and interviewing witnesses.

"I feel honored to be continuing my career alongside such established and respected attorneys," said Kate. "I look forward to growing and mastering my practice, while learning from my esteemed colleagues."
