FordHarrison Grows Atlanta Office, Adds Joy White as Counsel

FordHarrison LLP, one of the country's largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Joy White has joined the firm's Atlanta office as Counsel.

Joy received her Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University Law School and is a summa cum laude graduate of Spelman College. Prior to joining FordHarrison, Joy began her legal career as an Associate at King & Spalding LLP's Atlanta office.  After five years at King & Spalding, Joy founded and managed two boutique law firms, The White Legal Group LLC and McFadden, White, Sprattlin, Davis LLC.

Joy is a highly-skilled civil attorney with more than 10 years of experience in employment law, complex commercial litigation, and class action defense. Joy has represented companies of all sizes from start-ups to Fortune 100 corporations in a variety of industries, including, hospitality, educational institutions, transportation, healthcare, real estate and financial institutions. She has extensive experience defending employers in employment-related disputes in federal and state courts, as well as administrative agencies, including the EEOC and DOL. Many of these disputes involve allegations of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wage/hour arising under Title VII, Section 1981, ADA, FMLA and the FLSA.

In addition to her legal career, Joy has an unwavering commitment to the support and enrichment of her community, which she demonstrates by mentoring young professionals and providing pro bono legal representation.
