FordHarrison Recognized for "Community Engagement Excellence" by Visit Tampa Bay's Meeting the Moment Program

Date   Jul 17, 2025

TAMPA - FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that the firm has been recognized for "Community Engagement Excellence" in Visit Tampa Bay's Meeting the Moment program. This recognition highlights the firm's commitment to social impact through its 2025 Mid-Year Meeting Initiative, Putting for a Purpose.

Held in collaboration with Impact4Good, Putting for a Purpose engaged FordHarrison attorneys in a creative and meaningful team-building event designed to create mini "putt-putt" golf courses using canned and boxed food items. Through the program, FordHarrison was pleased to donate 3,456 cans to a local food pantry—Mission Tampa, a nonprofit organization supporting individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.

The Meeting the Moment program highlights meetings and conventions that go beyond traditional event planning to incorporate sustainable practices, social responsibility, and community engagement into their efforts. Events can qualify for one ore more of the following categories:

  • COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT EXCELLENCE: Celebrating meetings that build strong community partnerships, support local volunteer programs, or make charitable contributions.
  • SUSTAINABILITY CHAMPION: Recognizing events that adopt eco-friendly practices like waste reduction, carbon offsets, and sustainable sourcing.
  • SOCIAL IMPACT ADVOCATE: Highlighting events that prioritize the social growth of our community.

FordHarrison's inclusion in this year's honorees reflects its ongoing dedication to service and community-focused initiatives.
