Four New York-Based FordHarrison Attorneys Named 2018 Super Lawyers and Rising Stars

Date   Sep 13, 2018

FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Philip K. Davidoff, Eric Su and Stephen E. Zweig, attorneys in the firm’s New York office, have been selected to the 2018 “New York Metro Super Lawyers” list. Jeffrey G. Douglas, Counsel in the New York office, has been named to the 2018 “New York Metro Rising Stars” list.

Attorneys are selected for this honor through a statewide nomination process, peer review by practice area and independent research on candidates. This rigorous process is designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only five percent of attorneys in the state of New York are named “Super Lawyers.”

The Rising Stars list recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state – those who are 40 years old or younger, or those who have been practicing for 10 years or less. While up to five percent of the lawyers in the state are named to Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5 percent are named to the Rising Stars list.

His practice involves representing management in investigations by federal and state labor departments; Davis-Bacon Act (and Related Acts), Service Contract Act and state prevailing wage claims defense; defending and prosecuting restrictive covenant claims; counseling management in all facets of workplace fraud investigations, including but not limited to, forensic accounting and IT investigations concerning employee embezzlement, workplace harassment, disloyal conduct and other employee misconduct.

Stephen Zweig leads the firm’s executive compensation practice and previously served as managing partner of the firm’s New York office for the past ten years. Stephen represents and counsels executives in employment negotiations when they are entering, during, and leaving employment. He has counseled hundreds of individuals in negotiating their employment and separation agreements, including both total compensation packages and separation packages.
