FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Ikedi O. Onyemaobim has joined FordHarrison’s Los Angeles office as an associate.
Ikedi Onyemaobim focuses his legal practice on the representation of management in issues related to labor and employment law. He represents employers in a broad spectrum of labor and employment law disputes including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and wage and hour violations.
Prior to joining FordHarrison, Ikedi was a labor and employment law associate at a Southern California based general practice firm, handling all aspects of employment law litigation and routinely advising employers on litigation prevention. Ikedi has represented clients in a broad range of industries, including automotive, medical, and hospitality.
While in law school, Ikedi served as Editor-in-Chief of the Pepperdine University Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship, and the Law and was awarded Best Brief and Best Oral Advocate in the 7th Annual ABA First Amendment and Media Law Diversity Moot Court Competition. Additionally, Ikedi served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Richard M. Neiter of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.
