Date   Sep 10, 2019

FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Jack Schaedel has joined the Los Angeles, CA office as partner. Jack comes to FordHarrison from Scali Rasmussen.

“Our California offices have been rapidly growing and we are so excited to have our newest addition Jack Schaedel in Los Angeles. Jack is a well-versed employment litigator and we are enthusiastic about his future with FordHarrison,” said Stephen Lueke, Los Angeles Office Managing Partner.

Jack has spent more than two decades advising California and nationwide employers in matters related to labor and employment law, and representing them in related litigation. He has advised and represented clients ranging from small start-up companies to large multinational corporations with 100,000+ employees in a variety of industries including manufacturing, professional services, and hospitality. He has obtained favorable verdicts on behalf of these clients in high-stakes employment law matters involving wage/hour violations, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, and discrimination.

While Jack is a seasoned litigator, a central focus of his practice is developing his clients’ ability to prevent, address and resolve issues before they advance to litigation. He routinely guides clients through the intricacies of state and federal statutes related to discrimination, harassment, wage and hour regulations, and family and medical leave. He also assists employers in the development of sound employment practices and comprehensive personnel handbooks, and advises his clients on an ongoing basis on the myriad of workplace issues that arise on a given day.

Jack's experience in employment litigation and counsel complements a solid background in labor relations, having represented companies in campaigns and elections, collective bargaining, unfair labor practice arbitrations, and day-to-day collective bargaining agreement administration.

“I look forward to growing my practice and better serving my clients at such a well-respected firm,” said Jack.
