Lash Harrison Recognized With Lifetime Achievement Award at Georgia Legal Awards Ceremony

FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Lash Harrison was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Fulton County Daily Report at the 2019 Georgia Legal Awards Ceremony. The notable award honors individuals that have created a lasting impression on the Georgia legal community.

“I am honored that my passion for both the law and my community could be recognized and am grateful to have been able to serve the Georgia legal community for more than 50 years,” said Lash. 

Lash founded FordHarrison in 1978 with 14 lawyers and served as the firm's Managing Partner for nearly 40 years before becoming Of Counsel in 2019. During his tenure, he guided FordHarrison's growth to become one of the largest labor and employment law firms in the United States while keeping the firm's commitment to inclusiveness and service to the community at the forefront of its operations.  

Throughout his career, Lash has served in leadership roles in a number of professional and civic organizations. Currently, Lash is a member of the Emory University Law School Dean's Advisory Board. He was a member of the Emory University's Board of Visitors from 1999 to 2002 and a member of the Board's Executive Committee in 2001-2002. He also has served as a Trustee and Board Chair of Trinity School, Inc. in Atlanta.
