FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Maria Tavano has joined the firm’s Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, office as counsel.
Prior to joining FordHarrison, Maria was counsel at a regional general litigation defense firm. Maria provides counsel and representation to both public and private sector clients in matters involving all facets of labor and employment law, including but not limited to discrimination, whistleblower, wage and hour and WARN Act claims. Maria has appeared on behalf of clients in New York and New Jersey federal and state courts. She has also successfully represented clients in administrative proceedings before the U.S. EEOC, as well as before state human rights agencies including the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights, the New York State Division of Human Rights, and the New York City Commission on Human Rights.
