Memphis – Ford & Harrison today announced the addition of Arnold E. Perl, along with Kathryn W. Pascover and Jeffrey T. Harrison, to its Memphis office. All three served previously as partners at Young & Perl, PLC in Memphis.
Arnold Perl, a co-founder of Young & Perl, joins the firm with more than thirty years experience practicing labor and employment law. He has received local and national recognition – including being listed in The Best Lawyers in America for more than 20 years and a listing in the current edition of International Who’s Who of Management Labour and Employment Lawyers. Perl serves as Chairman of the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority, shaping and directing the decisions of Memphis’ economic engine. Perl also serves as Chairman of the New Memphis Arena Public Building Authority, which received great acclaim for the construction of the FedExForum, home of the NBA Memphis Grizzlies.
“Ford & Harrison is hiring one of the country’s leading labor attorneys,” said John Moore, president and chief executive of the Memphis Regional Chamber of Commerce and former Northwest Airlines executive, as reported by The Commercial Appeal. “Knowing that Arnold is that well-known and recognized is quite valuable for our community and outstanding for Ford & Harrison.”
“Ford & Harrison is known across the country as the labor and employment firm management turns to for workplace legal and HR assistance,” said Perl. “I am excited about the opportunities available to our clients at Ford & Harrison and look forward to adding my personal passion for helping clients succeed to the firm’s already stellar portfolio of capabilities.”
Kathryn Pascover had been with Young & Perl since 1997 and a partner since 2000. She has represented clients in many aspects of public law, constitutional law and employment law, in state and federal courts in several jurisdictions in the country. Prior to joining Young & Perl, Pascover served as Assistant Director of Law for the City of Akron, Ohio, where she represented and advised city departments and elected officials on employment law.
Jeffrey Harrison worked at Young & Perl since 2000, becoming a partner in 2003. Harrison has represented numerous management clients throughout the United States and Canada during all stages of union organizing campaigns and has extensive experience conducting employment practices audits. Prior to joining Young & Perl, Harrison was an attorney with the labor and employment law firm of Brown, Schwartz, Patterson & Ankers in Troy, Michigan.
“We are very pleased to have three attorneys of this caliber and who share a common vision of client service and community service join our firm,” said Executive Committee Member Herb Gerson. “We welcome Arnold, Kathryn and Jeff, and know that their addition to the firm will benefit all of our clients.”
