"Restrictive Covenants and Trade Secrets in Illinois" - Complimentary Webinar

Date   May 25, 2016

This program was recorded: Wednesday, May 25, 2016.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Please join FordHarrison Partner Craig Thorstenson, cthorstenson@fordharrison.com, for a complimentary webinar on restrictive covenants in Illinois and an update on trade secrets.

Illinois law governing restrictive covenants has a number of unique quirks that leave employers at risk of not being able to enforce non-compete and non-solicitation agreements they have entered into with their employees. As a result, companies with employees in Illinois may be at risk of not being able to protect their business interests. This webinar will alert you to these issues and focus on what you need to do to make sure your restrictive covenants with Illinois based employees are in the best position possible to be enforced by a court. In addition, the webinar will provide an update on the newly passed federal Defend Trade Secrets Law of 2016 that provides a uniform federal civil remedy that employers can use against former employees who have taken trade secrets.
