About the Program
Navigating the legal obligations to provide job-protected leave from employment is complicated and can be a challenge for employers. Join Frank Day and Russell Jackson for a complimentary Breakfast Briefing to discuss the interplay between the FMLA and ADA and provide guidance to understand the obligations for providing the required protections. Topics to be covered include:
- Purposes and enforcement authorities for the ADA and FMLA;
- Eligibility for FMLA and ADA leave and accommodations;
- Leave and job duty accommodation requirements under the FMLA and the ADA;
- Best practices for managing FMLA and ADA and common mistakes; and
- The impact of new case law on FMLA and ADA accommodations.
