Two Minneapolis-Based Ford & Harrison Partners Selected to Super Lawyers 2011 List

Date   Jul 20, 2011

Ford & Harrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, is pleased to announce that two partners in the firm's Minneapolis office have been named to Law & Politics' 2011 list of "Minnesota Super Lawyers."

The following attorney was recognized: Alec J. Beck.

Beck has more than twenty years of experience advising and representing employers in labor and employment law. He regularly represents employers in proceedings before state and federal courts, the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Minnesota Department of Human Rights, as well as various other agencies. Since his graduation from law school, Beck has practiced exclusively in the areas of labor relations, employment law and workers' compensation. He also provides ongoing counsel and training for employers regarding human resource management, employee relations strategies, and the avoidance of employment-related disputes and liability.  Beck received his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law in 1989.

Attorneys are selected for this honor through a statewide nomination process, peer review by practice area and independent research on candidates.  The rigorous process is designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.  Only five percent of attorneys in the state of Minnesota are selected for inclusion in 2011 "Minnesota Super Lawyers."
