Georgia-based attorney Leanne Mehrman contributed the article, "When is sleeping on the job not a terminable offense? 11th Circuit weighs in," in the February 2016 Georgia Employment Law Letter. Her article focuses on a case about an employee transitioning from male to female who was protected under Title VII and the court's determination that the employee's discrimination claim, even though she admitted to sleeping on the job, could proceed to trial.
