Date   Feb 5, 2020

FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Destiny Washington has been selected as a member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) 2020 class of Fellows, a landmark program created by LCLD to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. Fabian Ruiz has been selected as the Firm’s first LCLD Pathfinder, a program to train to train high-performing, early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies including leadership and the building of professional networks.

“Through this fellowship, Destiny and Fabian will both have the opportunity to take advantage of all of the opportunities LCLD has to offer and learn alongside a diverse group of individuals,” said Dawn Siler-Nixon, FordHarrison’s Diversity and Inclusion Partner. “I am thrilled at this opportunity.”

According to LCLD President Robert J. Grey, Jr., the LCLD Fellows Program offers participants “a year-long, in-depth program devoted to relationship-building, in-person training, peer-group projects, and extensive contact with LCLD’s top leadership and the best teachers in the business.”

The LCLD Pathfinder Program offers participants “intensive in-person training, online experiential learning, and opportunities to network with peers and esteemed LCLD Fellows and Alumni in small group gatherings.”
