FordHarrison Announces Changes in Leadership

FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Tracey K. Jaensch has been elected to the firm’s Executive Committee, the firm’s highest governing body; Russell Jackson was named FordHarrison’s Memphis Office Managing Partner; Jeff Mokotoff was named FordHarrison’s Atlanta Office Managing Partner; and Jennifer Martinez, SHRM-CP (Orlando) was named the firm’s Human Resource Director.

Tracey Jaensch has been practicing 30 years with 25 of them being with FordHarrison. She is a Board Certified Specialist in Labor & Employment Law. In addition to Tracey’s new role on the Executive Committee, she also currently serves as the Regional Managing Partner of FordHarrison’s six Florida offices. She is an established legal leader in the healthcare industry representing national hospital systems and large physician practices.  In addition to her healthcare practice, Tracey has a long-established legal reputation representing major retail grocery, airline, correctional, and government clients, across the country. Tracey is a trial lawyer and adviser to clients in virtually every kind of employment matter, including bet-the-company litigation. She is a founding member of the Florida Diversity Council and is a board member of her local Boys and Girls Club. Russell Jackson represents management in employment-related matters on federal, state, and local levels. Russell’s practice primarily includes defending employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, restrictive covenants, and wage and hour violations.  He also closely works with employers to counsel them through complex issues governing the employment relationship, including ADA and FMLA leave and accommodation requests, terminations, trade secret and non-compete obligations, wage and hour audits, and unfair labor practice complaints.  His clients represent a number of industries, such as residential services, manufacturing, packaging, logistics, insurance, healthcare, property management, staffing agencies, and retail.  With licenses in Tennessee and Mississippi, Russell regularly handles matters throughout the Mid-South as well as on a national basis for his clients. Jeff Mokotoff has a spent over 20 years of his legal career with FordHarrison. He focuses his practice on broad employment law issues, including drafting and litigating executive, arbitration and non-compete agreements, as well as litigating wage-hour collective and class actions in state and federal courts. Jeff also Chairs FordHarrison’s relationship as the sole U.S. member of the global employment law firm alliance, Ius Laboris. In Jennifer Martinez’s new role, she will be responsible for overseeing staff recruiting, hiring, orientation, development and continual training firm-wide. Jennifer brings a strong human resources background and practical hands on experience to this important leadership role.
