New Year, New Administration. What To Expect in Employment Law As The Biden Administration Takes Office - Memphis Virtual Luncheon Briefing

Date   Feb 8, 2021
Time   12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Monday, February 8, 2021
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Central

About the Program
With Biden taking office and a Democratic House and Senate becoming a reality, there will likely be significant employment law changes on the horizon.  Will Biden seek to expand employee rights?  Enact additional workplace safety measures?  Or push for raising the minimum wage and additional employer-provided benefits, including federally mandated paid leave?  Will the employer-friendly workplace polices implemented under President Trump be fully reversed?  Before we can answer these questions, we also have to understand where we’ve been. Join FordHarrison’s Memphis Team as they provide a 2020 yearend review, and a much anticipated dive into how employers can prepare for upcoming changes brought on by a new administration.

The briefing will also include an Ask the Experts Breakout Session where attendees will be broken into groups to create an interactive question and answer experience. Each breakout group will have one to two FordHarrison attorneys to answer any lingering questions following the session. Questions can be asked in advanced during registration.
