FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Stefan H. Black was named the firm’s Los Angeles Office Managing Partner.

“Stefan is a dedicated and collaborative FordHarrison partner, fully committed to client service, making him the perfect fit to manage our Los Angeles office as it continues to grow,” said Al McKenna, FordHarrison Managing Partner.

Stefan Black focuses his practice on representing management in labor and employment law disputes. He has defended clients in a variety of matters including claims for discrimination, harassment, failure to accommodate and failure to engage in the interactive process, retaliation, and ERISA. Stefan also defends employers in labor arbitrations and disputes before the National Labor Relations Board.

A significant portion of Stefan's practice is devoted to counseling employers regarding all aspects of the employment relationship including effectuating terminations, wage and hour inquiries, the ADA, the FMLA and COBRA.  He has also assisted employers with the drafting of employment agreements, severance agreements, covenants not to compete, employee handbooks and policies and ADA medical questionnaires.

“With the California offices rapidly growing, I cannot be more honored to take over the reins of the Los Angeles office. I look forward to working with my colleagues in this new leadership role, said Stefan.
