FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that two partners, Buena Vista Lyons (Dallas), and Elizabeth Rodriguez (Miami) were named to Lawyers of Color’s Fifth Annual Power List. The Power List recognizes the most influential minority attorneys and allies in the nation. The 2020 Power List honorees were celebrated at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Washington, D. C. on Wednesday, February 26, 2020.

About Lawyers of Color
Lawyers of Color is a non-profit devoted to promoting diversity in the legal profession and advancing democracy and equality in marginalized communities. Their journey began in 2008 with the founding of On Being a Black Lawyer and later On Being a Lawyer of Color. In addition to producing events, conferences, and publications including Power Issue, Caucus Issue, Hot List, and Legal Diversity Issue, they collaborate with media organizations to publish reports and studies like Why Black Lawyers Matter, which appeared in The Guardian. To help amplify the voices of minorities in the legal profession, they conduct opinion writing workshops for attorneys and assist with op-ed placement.
