This course concentrates on the development and implementation of affirmative action programs required by the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, as amended (VEVRAA), and by Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (Section 503). Taken together, both laws require federal contractors to employ and advance in employment qualified individuals with disabilities and veterans.
