For more than 20 years, Chip Zuver has counseled employers in a broad range of industries on both labor and employment law matters.
Having started his career as an attorney for the U.S. National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), Chip is uniquely positioned to assist clients in traditional labor matters that fall under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA). He has significant experience reaching favorable settlements in labor disputes, as well as negotiating and drafting collective bargaining agreements, reviewing purchase sale agreements, assisting with reductions in force, neutrality agreements, and strike contingency planning. In an effort to head off personnel disputes before they arise, Chip routinely advises clients in drafting employee handbooks, the enforceability of arbitration agreements, and the interplay of wage and hour issues and the NLRA.
Throughout his legal career, Chip has gained extensive experience investigating and responding to unfair labor practice charges as well as negotiating settlement agreements.
Chip also previously served as labor counsel to the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, supporting the president and vice president of the organization, as well as studios, in a variety of issues related to labor law.
