Florida Legal Elite is now in its 17th year of publication. The rigorous selection process began with notifying and inviting members of the Florida Bar to nominate attorneys they hold in the highest regard or would recommend to others. After the ballots were processed, the list of top vote-getters was further examined using membership status and practice histories provided by the Florida Bar. Less than 2% of active Florida Bar members practicing in Florida appear among the exclusive “Florida Legal Elite” list. Florida Trend Magazine’s “Up & Comers” are attorneys that have garnered the most votes in a special category for attorneys under the age of 40 and have exhibited leadership in the law and in their community.
