David Anderson represents management in virtually all aspects of the employer-employee relationship, with particular focus on labor relations and employment matters in the airline and healthcare industries.
David regularly advises airlines and hospitals (and services providers to each) on an assortment of labor and employment matters, including union-related issues arising under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) and Railway Labor Act (RLA). In that capacity, he prides himself on distilling convoluted regulatory frameworks and legal jargon into crisp, business-minded approaches, routinely suggesting creative solutions to complicated issues for clients.
An active trial lawyer, David has served as lead counsel and successfully tried numerous state and federal matters to verdict before juries and judges alike. He also frequently arbitrates employment, contract-interpretation and discipline and discharge cases in a wide-array of industries every year and regularly defends clients before administrative tribunals (EEOC, NLRB, OSHA) in unfair labor practice matters, AIR21 cases, and claims under other federal and state employment statutes (ADA, FLSA, FMLA, and Title VII).
Although based in Texas, David regularly defends clients at trial or in arbitration throughout the country and is a regular "go-to" for appellate work. He has successfully overturned several flawed arbitration decisions in district court and has successfully represented clients in numerous appellate matters before federal circuit courts of appeal.
David is a Board Member and Chair of the People Committee for Camp Twin Lakes in Rutledge, Georgia. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing and spending time with his wife, daughter and two dogs (Laney and Maggie).
