Employers today are overburdened with the weight of regulations stemming from a multitude of laws governing the workplace. This "alphabet soup" of laws includes the ADA, FMLA and Workers' Compensation laws. Every day, workplace occurrences, such as requests for leave, have the potential to raise difficult questions under each of these laws.
