"Drive-By Lawsuits and Web Access Claims: Wrestling with ADA Public Accommodation Issues in 2018" Complimentary Webinar

Date   Jan 30, 2018

This webinar was recorded Tuesday, January 30, 2018

About the Program
Last year saw an increase in ADA disability access lawsuits and claims across the country, including so called “drive-by lawsuits.” Lawsuits claiming a denial of website access also continued to proliferate in 2017. Some federal and state legislators as well as some state attorney generals weighed in to the growing calls for action to curb perceived abuses in disability access litigation. Please join FordHarrison partners Greg Grisham, Wes Redmond, and Elizabeth Rodriguez for a complimentary webinar discussing how Title III of the ADA may impact retailers and other organizations subject to its provisions in 2018. The program will examine recent cases and legislative and regulatory developments under Title III of the ADA and discuss the scope of its coverage and requirements while offering suggestions on guarding against and responding to public accommodation lawsuits and claim letters.
