ABOUT THE PROGRAM
New York employers are facing significant new compliance challenges following the enactment of the "Trapped at Work Act," which sharply limits the use of "stay or pay" agreements requiring employees to repay training costs if they leave employment early. This webinar will provide a discussion on how the new law impacts training repayment provisions, what agreements remain permissible, and discuss practical steps employers should take to mitigate risk while awaiting further legislative or judicial clarification.
