Becky Kalas represents employers in employment and labor law claims, including matters involving allegations of sexual harassment, disability discrimination, FMLA violations, race and national origin discrimination, wrongful discharge, and violation of wage and hour and wage payment laws.
She also counsels employers regarding handbook and policy development and employment agreements and pay plans.
Earlier in her career, Becky worked as a corporate paralegal for two multi-national technology companies. During law school, she received a certificate from Chicago-Kent's Labor and Employment Law Certificate Program and was a student editor of the Illinois Public Employee Relations Report and the Employee Rights and Employment Policy Journal, both published by the Institute for Law and the Workplace.
